this is christmas eve. we were at kalena park. napua had a great time. i thought i'd try and get more pictures of me and her in it together instead of just her.

Auntie lana playing with napua she love lana and loves to give her hugs and kisses. its really adorable.
he own princess tiara for her 1st birthday what every princess needs. i think she like the lights on it mostly.
there we go the stuffing of the mouth. i didn't do big frosting like the typical pictures which would of been cute but this one was pretty cute. she looks kinda like shes tired there though.
she looks unsure there. but once the piece was in her mouth she let out a big mmmm sound and a big smile wish we had got that one recorded.
napua wasn't quite sure about her cake so she looked at it a while but i got good reviews so it couldn't of been that bad.
i have to laugh at this one because i set napua down to cut the cake ans she wanted to see what was going on so shes on her tip toes trying to get a good look at the cake.
napua was really funny she doesn't know how to blow so i was going to help her well when we got the picture the candle was already out and napua was looking pretty puzzled it was funny.
her first cake oh fun. i'm not sure if she knew what to do though. it was really funny. i like it though. i think she felt pretty special anyways.
napua loved playing with the balloons she had so much fun with them. this was her first birthday celebration and i think she liked them better than the gift part.
napua has been growing so big. we had her hair done back like this she looked so different to me. all grown up but soo cute.
napua loved to swing. But she wouldn't hold on so i kept getting afraid she would flip if she fell forward or backward. It deffinitly mae for an adorable photo though.
Napua wasn't very happy here. She's been giving dad trouble. she'll follow him around and stare at him but when its time to get by him or regognize he did something nice she puts on a good cry.
We went to Kalena park. Napua just loves the park.
NAPUA GOT A CUTE SWIMSUIT FROM A WARD FAMILY.
it was so hot that i bought napua a small pool. I couldn't put it outside because it was hot and she burns super easy. so we put it on the kitchen floor. she just loves her pool.
Napua has finally goten her crawling down. I just finally figured out what was wrong with my camera so we just had to take a few pictures.

This is one of the few pictures we got for christmas since we were in the hospital for napuas broken arm.
napua's birth
i can'tremember every body's name but the nurse on the right was the most kind and helpful i think her name was candy. and then the nurse on the left she was kinda drill sargentish and i couldn't of made it with out her. shes the one that told me i was going to be a mother so i better suck it up and push. it really helped me take it literally and i was able to deliver without pushing for hours.
one last take
this was a once last picture since i don't really have many pregnant pictures. this was the morning i went in to get my water broke. I was lucky because i didn't have to get drugs to get induced i just needed my water broke.
napua weighed in at 7 punds 2.2 ounces and the first length was 21 inches in the end they said 19 inches long.
This picture was taken one of the first few days napua was home with me. some of kainoa's co-workers got her that and brought it to th hospital except i couldn't recieve the because the nurses where with me.
Tressies Visit to Hawaii
Tressie my sister came to live with us for a few months back in the first part of january. We decided to go take pictures at one our ward member Friends that live just down the street. we took a couple of really cute pictures. tressie didn't get to go alot of places but one of the beaches we first took her to was mahalepu something like that its pronounciation sounds like ma-hale-lee-poo. Kainoa was showing tressie about the waves. In hawaii we have alot of drownings or people getting carried off by the ocean because they think its like the mainland and in fact its way different.
i also took her to a beach called kalepaki. which sounds cali-poc-ee. which is used alot by locals and tourist. its one of my favorites when i first moved here. Kalepaki is in a harbor which also ohouses the cruise ships. so tressie got to see the cruise ship and see it selling off which is pretty cool thing. when we were there i went to clean up and some of the locals decided to give tressie a ride in their canoe. it sounds like she had a lot of fun. but i didn't get any pictures. sorry.

we bought napua sunglasses and a bunch of other things for her valentines basket. so one day i thought it would be fun just to take a few pictures with her sun glasses. I don't know but shes pretty cute.
napua love to take car rides. what kid doesn't right? Grandmother bought her these dog cover straps she took right to them. she exspecially loves to suck on their ears as their in the perfect position for ear sucking.

I meant to call you for Christmas, and then got busy with everything and forgot. I hope you had a good Christmas, it looks like you got to spend some good time with Napua, that's good:) I'll call sometime soon. Love ya.
